Amantya Technologies Joins Nokia SMO Marketplace to Accelerate Autonomous RAN Operations

Amantya Technologies, a global AI and digital engineering company, today announced its inclusion in the Nokia SMO Marketplace - Nokia's open ecosystem for partner and third-party applications built on the MantaRay Service Management and Orchestration (SMO) platform. With this collaboration, Amantya brings two production-ready, AI-native rApps to telecom operators pursuing autonomous RAN operations.

As a member of the Nokia SMO Marketplace, Amantya brings two purpose-built rApps to the application catalogue, built on a modular, cloud-native stack and designed to address two of the most critical challenges in modern RAN management: intelligent slice assurance and context-aware traffic steering.

The AI-Driven Slice Resource Management rAppSteering rApp delivers proactive, intent-driven slice assurance using predictive AI to dynamically adjust Radio Resource Management procedures, including Admission Control and Scheduling, before congestion occurs, forecasting slice-specific load, automating resource sharing based on slice priority, and adapting admission behavior under high user density to ensure consistent SLA compliance. The AI-Powered Traffic Steering rApp moves beyond traditional signal-strength-based mobility decisions to incorporate multi-dimensional QoS and load-awareness, profiling UEs by mobility patterns and traffic characteristics, forecasting cell and slice load, and recommending proactive steering policies that improve throughput, reduce congestion hotspots, and lower handover failures.

Together, these rApps give operators the predictive intelligence to move from SLA firefighting to proactive, slice-aware network control.
